My daily pain with v0.3

Hello there! Here for a new update on how the game is going!

As you may know, the game went silent for 2 months, mainly because my focus was on Development Tour and some other projects that were to my heart, more important than Akasen Powerleak, but do not worry, I don’t plan on dropping it.

This is why I’m here with some informations on how the game’s development is going, and what I’m aiming before releasing Chapter 1.

Like my latest message says it, the Chapter 1 is playable, you can actually finish it. The problem is that I’m not satisfied of the fighting system nor the levels. Most of the interesting fights are in the end game. Also I’m struggling with making the gameplay balanced.

For most of the characters already in the game, the relationship is stuck at level 3 because level 4 unlocking events and level 5 unlocking quests are sending the player to places that doesn’t even exist yet.

Also for battles again, I’m focusing the lore before anything else. Battles will be at canon characters level. You will be harshly defeated or you will hardly win. They are unfair, but consistent to the lore, can’t have the two sadly.

Then, we have to talk about healing items… There is small to none of them that can be found in the map freely. But FCs aren’t that hard to get. I saw a lot of RPG Maker fetish games needing you to farm A FUCKING LOT. So skiping day cycles to fuck girls in rows in order to get enough money won’t make it unbearable, right?…

I’m planning on making more healing items for higher levels. The minimum level needed to beat Chapter 1 is Level 15. If you are to go in a dungeon without any way to leave, YOU ARE DONE MATE. It’s game over, you won’t beat a dungeon too hard for you. Since I’m aware of that, I’ve put auto-save before any kind of “you can’t go back” kind of situation. If you delete your save before the dungeon or don’t save when I open it for you, then God awaits you my child. 🫡
